Project details

The Project details section shows the Name of the project as well as an optional project Description (Figure 1).  

The owner and project collaborators will see an additional pencil icon  and a link to Edit project details. Editing the project details will allow the user to:

  • rename the project (names are limited to 30 characters)
  • add a project description (up to 2000 characters) 

The description accepts hyperlinks starting with "http://" or "https://" and if selected, will open a new tab browser to navigate to the website. This description will be also displayed to collaborators and administrators on the Partek® Flow® Home Page.

Collaboration

The Collaboration section provides an overview of users associated with a particular project and enables project creators and administrators to add collaborators (Figure 1). A user (without administrator status) has to be specified as a collaborator in a project to be able to access the project in his/her home folder and to perform tasks.

To add a collaborator, type a username in the Add member box and click the  button. Previous collaborators may be selected using the dropdown box. To delete a collaborator, select the next to their username.
