Partek ^® Flow ^® contains a number of quality control tools and reports that can be used to evaluate the current status of your analysis , and to decide on downstream steps. Quality control tools are organised under organized under the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QCsection ) section of the toolbox and context-sensitive menu and are available for unaligned and aligned reads data nodes.

This section will illustrate:

• Pre-alignment QA/QC
• ERCC assessment
• Post-alignment QA/QC
• Coverage report

In addition to the tools listed above, many other functionalities can also be interpreted in a sense of quality control. For instance, principal components analysis, hierarchical clustering (on sample level), variant detection report, and quantification report.
