The tutorial is based on the work published by Venteicher and co-workers, focusing on the role of microenvironemnt in the biology of two types of isocitrate dehydrogenase-mutant gliomas: astrocytoma and oligodendorglyoma. Single cells were processed by flow cytometry and the libraries were prepared by Smart-seq2 protocol. The tutorial data set consists of twelve eight expression matrix files, one per patient (eight four patients with astrocytoma and four patients with oligodendroglyoma). The matrix files contain gene expression values normalised normalized by the following transformation  log2[(TPM/10)+1]
