The Downscale alignments task can be invoked on data node containing bam/sam files, e.g. Aligned reads data node (Figure 1). The only parameter is to specify the percentage of the alignments in the results, the range of the parameter should be between 0 to 100. All the samples in the input data node will use the same parameter. The output data node contains bam files with a subset of the alignments.
